The VISTA will be working on marketing for the organization. This position will plan and implement marketing strategies to connect with more schools and teens and help expand our programming. The VISTA will strengthen partnerships with various agencies across the state that work with students including agencies and organizations that serve low-income families to ensure we are reaching all populations. The VISTA will be working in collaboration with our staff and board marketing group to help guide and advance some of this work. They will also have access to our youth advisory board to support and get youth stakeholder input.

Member Duties : This is an exciting role in which YOU will have flexibility to help us think outside of the box in how we can better our programming. They will help with social media, develop a monthly newsletter, strengthen our community partner relationships, and streamline and strengthen what we are already doing in order to expand and improve our outreach. As a small nonprofit, we wear many hats and this role will really be able to help us expand our reach. We are looking for someone with experience in marketing, social media, and outreach. Building relationships is so important in the work we do so this position will do a lot of outreach to our community partners and will work closely with our Development Director. We know that social media is the way of the world, so we are hoping to bring on someone who can help us build those platforms in order to reach more people. They will also attend various events on our behalf and there may be opportunities to help us with our website design as well.
