Bringing Recovery Home - Dayton
 
 
 
Our VISTA member will learn about the Ohio Recovery Housing Outcomes Tools and implement them at our recovery homes. The VISTA member will learn about the role of recovery housing in helping people achieve positive outcomes. The VISTA member will be responsible for creating communications by developing newsletters, planning virtual events, and curating content for Jewel’s Gift social media. Additionally, this VISTA member will work with the organization on grant writing and meeting grant objectives.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will serve as the connection needed to assist with community efforts to support people in recovery. The VISTA member serving at Jewel’s Gift would be able to help with our goals to provide accurate data on those impacted by substance abuse by tracking resident outcomes, assist with grant research, help to establish partnerships to ensure continued success. Help develop strategies to communicate available resources (Ex. Website, social media, newsletter).
