Ohio Recovery Housing is an alliance of individuals and organizations operating quality recovery housing in Ohio. Recovery housing is a critical recovery support for people living in recovery from substance use disorders. Recovery housing provides an environment free from substance use, peer support, assistance with obtaining recovery support services and other assistance. Ohio Recovery housing works to increase access to quality recovery housing resources for Ohioans with substance use disorders. The VISTA member will provide training and technical assistance to recovery housing operators to assist them with collection and analysis of data from residents. The VISTA member will use the data collected to write reports and perform research on recovery housing outcomes in Ohio. They will help recovery housing operators access individualized data and help provide information and training on how this data can be used for continuous quality improvement, grant reporting, and to meet state and federal requirements. The VISTA member will help draft general communications and publications on recovery housing and Ohio Recovery Housing. The VISTA member will help manage and ensure the accuracy of data in the ORH Housing locator tool. The VISTA member will help educate and inform communities about the work of ORH. The VISTA member will participate in the development of best practice guidance, resources and tools for operators and people in recovery
