Bringing Recovery Home - Vermillion

The Road to Hope has been providing recovery housing since 2007. We are the sole certified associate of Ohio Recovery Housing in Lorain County. Our organization is committed to continuous quality improvement as a means of increasing the success of each resident’s long-term recovery. The Road To Hope established a recovery planning program in 2014. The recovery plan is a resident -driven process in which the resident and the program director mutually agree and prioritize a set of goals for each resident to be completed in a specified time frame. The recovery plan begins with an Initial Needs Assessment on the first day of residency and continues every 30 days for the next six months. Data and outcomes generated from the resident recovery plans are measured and analyzed to use as a quality improvement tool for both present and future residents and overall organizational efficiency. The addition of a VISTA member to our staff will assist us in improving the long-term recovery potential of our residents and aid us in the continued sustainability of our organization.
