| Member Duties : Established in 2000, Gerard Place offers permanent supportive housing, educational, and comprehensive community support services in the Bailey-Delavan neighborhood focused on assisting and empowering individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency. The Community Support Services Coordinator VISTA member will support the various community services offered at Gerard Place including food insecurity programs, educational and job training programs, and the new Healthy Moms and Babies program. The VISTA’s efforts will assist in building capacity for the programs through activities such as securing funding resources, engaging with donors, and recruiting and supporting volunteers. Additionally, the VISTA will focus on marketing, research, volunteer engagement, and community education.
