Member Duties : The Visual Communications VISTA member will build the capacity of Rung for Women’s social media and marketing by creating a library of visual assets to improve Rung’s ability to communicate about its holistic programs benefiting low-income women from St. Louis metro area. A third of Rung’s members live below the federal poverty line. All earn under a family-sustaining wage, as defined by the MIT Living Wage Calculator. Members accepted for Cohorts 1 and 2 had an average annual salary of $25,817. As a result of the VISTA member’s service, Rung for Women will be able to draw from a range of visual assets for communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including potential and current supporters; potential and current members, and Rung alumni.
