A Safe Haven Foundation, Development & Outreach Coordinator
 
 
 
The Development Department values creative solutions and strategy ideation from every member of our team in order to support our mission. We are aware of shifts and trends in the populations we serve, programs offered, and community outreach initiatives. The Development Department supports this work through fundraising activities, marketing and communications, and volunteer development. In doing so, this small, supportive group works with staff in all areas of our organization, as well as volunteers and community partners throughout the city. In this work, the VISTA member will fight poverty by increasing funding for housing programs and recovery and substance use services. And, by increasing fundraising capacity, they will ensure the financial resources necessary to continue to develop and grow programs and services to clients and the greater community. They will support our fundraising work by researching and implementing new digital fundraising opportunities and work directly with the Development Department to implement best practices for effective annual fundraising. The VISTA member will also have opportunities for professional development in both technical skills and leadership competencies.

Member Duties : Build organizational capacity through service in digital fundraising, communications, and gift recording in Salesforce. Research and implement new digital fundraising opportunities. Create best practices for effective annual fundraising.
