Role Summary We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate, and organized candidate to fill our AmeriCorps VISTA Operations Associate role. The VISTA member will increase capacity of volunteer chapter boards. In addition to making AMIGOS programming more accessible to local students, chapter board members build community, engage their local network, and create professional development and volunteer opportunities. VISTA Operations Associate responsibilities will include surveying and evaluating current board member recruitment practices, working with volunteer board members and AMIGOS alumni to better understand board recruitment, and updating and designing new advertisements, resources, and processes for board recruitment. The VISTA member will prioritize board building and board member onboarding as well as alumni engagement at the chapter level. They will aspire to increase the number of volunteer board members in addition to increasing board member onboarding evaluations and general experience satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in community building, data analysis, database management, and business operations.

Member Duties : Support in surveying and evaluating current board member recruitment practices; Design and outline a yearly calendar of board member recruitment activities; Implement and evaluate board member recruitment activities and practices based on designed calendar; Craft exciting, engaging, and attractive calls to action or advertisements to join a local chapter board as a volunteer board member.
