Free and Charitable Clinics are the trusted health care provider of the 100,000 uninsured and underinsured residents in Illinois. To provide quality health care, IAFCC relies on the strength of our clinic membership and effectively working committees to guide the mission, Additionally, the IAFCC Board of Directors leads the state association in visioning and pace setting. Presently, IAFCC uses a strategic priorities framework to lead the work of the organization. IAFCC will be undertaking a Long-Term Strategic Planning Process starting November 2021. The IAFCC Operational VISTA will collaborate closely with the IAFCC Executive Director and members of the IAFCC VISTA Team, IAFCC Member Clinics, IAFCC Committees and Board of Directors to develop an Operational Guide. The purpose of the Guide would be to begin to operationalize the work of the strategic priorities and strategic plan to be more efficient in IAFCC member recruitment, IAFCC meeting structures and outcomes, IAFCC Board Management and IAFCC project initiatives.
