Restoration House - Development VISTA
 
 
 
The mission of Restoration House of Greater Kansas City (R|H) is to bring hope to survivors of human trafficking through love, guidance, and the assurance of a long-term home. The Development VISTA will build organizational capacity for Restoration House by expanding funding opportunities, volunteer engagement, and building up data management practices to increase capacity for direct services. Key objectives include identifying and managing funding opportunities, including grants, donor relations, and events, developing and managing volunteer and community engagement programs, and increasing data management and reporting practices.

Member Duties : The Development VISTA will improve Restoration House' overall fundraising efforts by researching, identifying, and preparing grants, creating partnerships with individual and corporate donors, recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, developing and implementing a marketing strategy, including social media, monthly newsletters, and eblast content. The VISTA will also increase data management and reporting efforts through research, development, and implementation of policies and processes to improve efficiency.
