RedTails LEAD: Build Crew

RedTails LEAD AmeriCorps program provides support to Hawkeye students through their college journey, empowering them to reach their academic and career goals. At Hawkeye Community College we believe we are in the business of changing lives. Our students are the top priority in everything we do. A comprehensive team of RedTails LEAD AmeriCorps Members will serve others to meet their basic needs like food, housing, and education. Service options include College Completion Coordinators who offer student coaching and support services, Resource Ambassadors who launch and coordinate food access centers while providing access coaching and Build Crew who construct or rehabilitate homes for families in need while mentoring other under-resourced individuals in exploring education and training options. The strength of the program comes from the belief that partnership and collaboration are central to everything we do. Together, we will Learn, Educate, Accelerate, and Discover because RedTails LEAD to ensure the communities we serve are better because of us.
