Member Duties : The VISTA will build a community engagement structure with partners including but not limited to, the School District of Lancaster, Intermediate Unit 13, Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology along with various local colleges and universities. The VISTA review the City’s strategic goals, talent strategy, industry, size, location, and projected growth. Review current data on the recruitment process,i.e.,number of applicants by residence, race, gender, etc. to ascertain how equitable the program has been implemented for the city residents. The VISTA will build a network to increase the likelihood that City residents see themselves represented in the employee base and, in turn, will seek employment with the organization. The deliverables will include assessment indicators to monitor progress and create a culture of accountability for the work and a system to track and report metrics.
