Rocky Mountain Youth Corps Conservation Crew Members
 
 
 
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps is a non-profit, youth-based organization located in New Mexico. We are currently enrolling Conservation crewmembers, and assistant crew leaders to work on conservation projects, and restoration projects on public lands throughout New Mexico. Crews consist of Corpsmembers between the ages of 18-25 yrs., and Assistant Crew Leaders between the ages of 21-30 yrs. Conservation crews will travel to work sites, camp for up to eight days (Spike Crews only), and complete project work as a team. Projects include trail construction and maintenance, forestry, historic preservation, burned area restoration and other community improvement work. All Corpsmembers are on-call for disaster relief work, with potential deployments lasting up to 30 days. All Corpsmembers will receive training throughout the season on a variety of personal and professional topics.

Member Duties : Join a crew working in the majestic mountains, forests, mesas, and high desert lands of New Mexico. Rocky Mountain Youth Corps has been making a difference through work outdoors with the commitment of young adults for over 25 years. We strive to offer young adults the opportunity to work in either our Taos or Albuquerque regions. Crews will work on conservation and restoration projects on public lands throughout the state of New Mexico. Crews consist of seven crew members between the ages of 18 and 25, and leadership teams consisting of a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leader. Crews will travel to work sites and camp for up to eight days at a time while completing project work. Projects include trail construction and maintenance, forestry, historic preservation, burned area restoration and other land management work. All crew members will receive training throughout the season on a variety of personal and professional development topics.
