COVID19 Response AmeriCorps Member-Case Management Assistant
 
 
 
CCCNMO is looking for ideal candidates to serve in part-time or full-time positions. The AmeriCorps member will enhance CCCNMO’s COVID-19 related and basic needs services, providing direct services to clients impacted by COVID-19 such as disaster case management and basic needs assistance, and supporting program development for COVID-19 related program activities. The AmeriCorps member will conduct a needs assessment with clients, provide services for identified needs, and complete a post assessment to measure outcomes as a result of receiving services, including improved access to shelter/housing, food security, and clothing. The AmeriCorps COVID-19 member will receive specific program assignments from the Site Supervisor to support COVID-19 related and basic needs services across the agency. The AmeriCorps member will work closely with the Lead Disaster Case Manager at CCCNMO to provide services and referrals to those impacted by COVID-19. Outreach to communities within the Diocese of Jefferson City will be conducted by the AmeriCorps Member to ensure local agencies and nonprofits can refer clients to CCCNMO. Ideal candidates must be willing to travel within the Diocese of Jefferson City to meet with clients and attend county unmet needs meetings as needed. Additionally, familiarity with a variety of technology platforms including Zoom, Microsoft teams, One-Drive, and Outlook is preferred. Must possess a willingness to serve all those impacted by COVID-19 regardless of race, religious beliefs, ethnicity, gender or legal status. Ideal candidates must be willing to travel within the Diocese of Jefferson City to meet with clients and attend county unmet needs meetings as needed. Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will utilize the Disaster Case Management Model to assist those affected by COVID-19 with matching resources to needs as laid out in their individual recovery plans. This position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s COVID-19 Response Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with other members serving throughout the country, all focused on serving populations affected by COVID-19.
