The VISTA will Strengthen and expand the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts at the Lawrence Arts Center by articulating the DEI framework for a sustainable and transformative impact on the organization through measurable outcomes.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will assess the current state of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices at the Lawrence Arts Center, research internal staff and stakeholders, research the community, and present findings to the Arts Center's CEO. The VISTA will research best practices, and develop a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion toolkit to connect these best practices with the Arts Center's current Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion protocol. In addition, the VISTA member will establish a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council for the Arts Center to guide and implement the toolkit. This will include developing bi-laws and outlining goals, mission, and protocols for Advisory Council. The VISTA will also recruit council members and lead an orientation and initial activities of the council.
