Focus: HOPE Generation of Promise Program Coordinator VISTA

These programs aim to create a pipeline of opportunity, with strong supports and access to opportunity from cradle to post-secondary education.

Member Duties : Generation of Promise (GoP) is a ten-month experiential social justice educational program offered to high school juniors in Detroit and the metropolitan region. This VISTA would be a vital part the GoP Program. The VISTA will implement virtual program events, including monthly programming with local organizations and leaders. VISTA will facilitate recruitment and outreach; -organize alumni network relations; -develop program curriculum; - perform evaluation tracking; - Update social media content; -and research grant opportunities. -Organize the GoP Board of Advisors and Youth Council. An ideal candidate is a creative self-starter and is enthusiastic about youth leadership and social justice education.
