Science Moab Science Program Assistant
 
 
 
The mission of Science Moab is to uplift Southeast Utah by engaging community members with the science happening here. Our vision is that Southeast Utah be recognized for its contributions to scientific knowledge and its longstanding Indigenous knowledge. We work to ensure that local communities benefit educationally, economically, and environmentally from the science being done in the region. Science Moab seeks a VISTA to help grow our science engagement organization. This position will involve working on exciting programs related to science education with students, community members, and outdoor recreation guides. Specific duties will include organizing live outreach events, managing social media, overseeing graphic design and website development, and assisting the program directors in enacting community and science-based programming. With a great degree of independence, this position is dynamic, strategic, and creative, offering the unique opportunity to shape a popular local nonprofit for years to come.
