United Action for Youth Community Engagement VISTA

Johnson County's growth is one of the highest in the state, and families at or near poverty make up a significant part of that growth. United Action for Youth (UAY) serves a growing segment of the population and one of the most at-risk for future negative outcomes without early intervention. UAY's Community Engagement VISTA member will be responsible for engaging the community with UAY's mission to nurture the potential of all youth to create, grow, and succeed. They will do this by working with our Development Director to engage community members in our donor and volunteer opportunities, and with area businesses to partner with UAY programs. The Community Engagement member will be responsible for managing UAY's volunteer program, assist with social media campaigns, and help UAY craft messaging to bring our services to a broader audience.
