Part-time Environmental Education Leadership Corps Member
 
 
 
EELCorps members are environmental educators in their communities. The ideal candidate will care about the environment and be willing to learn best practices of environmental education, which EELCorps will provide. Key Responsibilities: -Delivers environmental programming of 20 minutes duration to the community. -Conducts the EELCorps Participant Survey for all programming performed. -Records of the number of people that receive direct instruction, and all survey responses. -Submits Data Collection and Timesheets on time. -Develops new programs or activities that support the host site mission. -Assesses effectiveness of their instruction with their service site. -Communicates service activity to, and maintains open communication with site supervisors, and EELC staff via regular professional meetings and through reports completed in OnCorps. -Attends and completes all requirements for the required trainings and professional development, including required monthly meetings. -Seeks opportunities to lead environmental education programs to support increasing the environmental stewardship of community members. -Speaks to civic organizations about experiences in AmeriCorps. -Presents at environmental development events.
