2021-2022 WGMC PR & Fund Development VISTA (IAFCC)

The goals of Public Relations and Fund Development Associate include building capacity of Will-Grundy Medical Clinic in the areas of public relations, community outreach and fund development. The VISTA will create sustainable, replicable and scalable campaigns in the following areas: social media, fund development and special events planning. This includes goals, tactics, and implementation strategies. The fund development programs created by the VISTA will provide support to the clinic’s administration and fund development office and increase the clinic’s capacity to see patients by improving the clinic's outreach and fund development ability. The programs will also improve the quality of care by raising awareness through marketing campaigns, facilitating the recruitment of new volunteers (allowing more patients to be seen), and securing funding for medical equipment. The work of the VISTA will translate into long-term sustainability for the clinic through building an individual donor base, identifying potential grants, assisting in grant writing, coordinating a fundraising event, and increasing the number of sponsors.
