Events and Marketing Coordinator -- More Than Words
 
 
 
The purpose of this project is to create the tools, resources, and knowledgebase that improves More Than Words’ ability to empower system-involved young adults within the MTW model. Working directly with the Associate Director of Retail and Events, the vista will play a critical role in creating best practices for youth engagement and revenue driven events that sustain the model. This is an in-person role unless the CDC and state guidelines require remote work. MTW has been open safely since July 8, 2020. **COVID Contingency Plan: 100% of this work could be done remotely, if necessary, based on CDC and Massachusetts guidelines.

Member Duties : The Events and Marketing Coordinator will Engage MTW youth participants and collaborate with MTW staff and leadership to create exciting events, grow our audience, and build partnerships with potential speakers, performers, and sponsors and develop and pilot strategies to expand the reach of our current marketing efforts for events and retail business through social media, online postings, and public relations. This service position requires occasional nights & weekends.
