Career Services Education & Employment Coord-More Than Words
 
 
 
To help More Than Words’ career services department better serve our graduates. MTW seeks to have 80% of our graduates productively involved in 30+ hours of either employment or post-secondary education (or a combination of two). The VISTA will work in conjunction with other career services managers to further develop educational and employment pathways for MTW graduates to pursue. This position will help expand opportunities for MTW graduates so that they are even better prepared upon exiting our core social enterprise program. This is an in-person role unless the CDC and state guidelines require remote work. MTW has been open safely since July 8, 2020. **COVID Contingency Plan: If necessary, based on CDC and Massachusetts guidelines, if this role must be virtual, the Coordinator will develop and adapt programming to meet the needs of our graduates for further educational and employment support. S/he will develop a range of virtual site visits, webinars, etc. to help graduates of MTW explore career paths.

Member Duties : The Career Services Education and Employment Coordinator (Waltham, MA) will collaborate with MTW staff to further build out a network of partners who can hire our youth or provide post-secondary opportunities in various education fields and develop strategies to help overhaul program development and create better systems so that graduates have easier access to materials necessary to ensure continued post-MTW success.
