Good Neighbor House - Health & Hunger Associate

We could all use a little helping hand every now and then. Sometimes, the hardest-working people are the most overlooked when it comes to under-served populations. Good Neighbor House improves your quality of life by providing needed health and human services for you and your family. Good Neighbor House was founded out of a collaboration of eight Dayton area Seventh-Day Adventist churches who desired to make a difference by helping to meet the needs of the under-served in the Dayton community. So in 1994, the congregations came together to form Good Neighbor House, a nonprofit organization that provides food pantry services, clothing, and household items to under-served individuals and families in the Greater Dayton Region. As the need for affordable healthcare increased within Dayton’s working uninsured community, so did Good Neighbor House’s vision. Today, Good Neighbor House offers a full range of Human and Health Services to the community as we collaborate with many local agencies to assist clients. Our services are in consideration of our neighbors and their needs. We currently offer: Dental clinic, Medical clinic, Eye clinic, Special Dietary Needs Program, Counseling, Pharmaceutical Dispensary, and a Food Pantry.
