Join the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas AmeriCorps VISTA Program. The Unified Government (UG) has made a commitment to civic innovation, job creation, economic development, and the health of Wyandotte County residents - and our members are contributing in big ways! The VISTA will build capacity for KU ThrYve. They will work to help the team with the evaluation of ThrYve efforts through data tracking, use of the Community Check Box Evaluation System, and help with the coordination of collaborative efforts.

Member Duties : Coordinate the work of the ThrYve team to assure that the project activities are sustained. Coordinate ThrYve team meetings, take notes, and follow-up with team members in between to assure that the team is working towards their goals. Use technologies such as text-em-all system to communicate weekly reminders about programming and resources. Communicate to team members and assure ThrYve staff follow up when communications from text-em-all are sent in from youth. Track, manage and gather ThrYve-related data. Track the number of community members, including youth engaged in ThrYve activities using the Community Check Box. Review and update participant file folders through regular audits to ensure all pertinent paperwork is collected by program participants. Assist with collecting and reviewing data from the ThrYve program and partners to examine program and community outcomes. Develop reports and graphs using data reviewed and analyzed from the Community Check Box Evaluation system.
