The Unified Government (UG) has made a commitment to civic innovation, job creation, economic development, and the health of Wyandotte County residents - and our members are contributing in big ways! The member's work will support policy, project identification, and overall programs related to watershed master planning and funding opportunities such as the EPA's WIFIA program.

Member Duties : Determine how to evaluate the existing conditions of current stormwater infrastructure efficiently and effectively. Develop maps for communication of infrastructure needs. Identify needs through the use of hydrological models. Identify deficiencies and strategize solutions opportunities based upon available data. Organize and present the existing conditions for communication among partners and for use in policy. Additionally, organize information and work with the phase - evaluation of potential projects and effects of implementing - in mind. Utilize GIS tools such as remote sensory ortho and determine automation section of land use for stormwater and hydrological evaluation. Gain familiarity with land use classification, property, data, and understand basic review of construction drawing to make recommendations.
