Member Duties : Integrate STEAM concepts into the gardening lessons & teach them to students participating in the school garden project; help in all garden activities from garden bed preparation, planting, weeding & monitor pest and disease occurrence; incorporate STEAM concepts into 4-H gardening related activities; Work with the students & teachers in the monitoring & maintaining of the school gardens; & maintain a record of activities & communicate project needs. Skill requirements: Strong organizational & leadership skills; Excellent written & verbal communication skills; Computer Skills: Microsoft Office &/or Google Suite; Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Terms: Have residence or can find living quarters in Parker or Nearby Towns; Have own car & Driver’s License; Be able to work evenings & weekends on occasions; May need to travel on some occasions; Member will average 20 hours per week & receive professional development training – Master Gardener Training.
