LIFT-UP Community Engagement Programs VISTA
 
 
 
Goal of the Project: The Community Engagement Programs Specialist will engage with the public to strengthen awareness and engagement, across diverse communities, to support LIFT-UP’s mission through community relationships development. The VISTA will facilitate the delivery of a streamlined, efficient, and effective volunteer experience utilizing the newly established policies and procedures to recruitment, train, support and retain quality and consistent volunteers. The VISTA will assist in continuous quality improvement of the client experience through implementation of observation and survey based data on LIFT-UP’s programs to successfully meet the organization’s overall needs.

Member Duties : Support recruitment, training, support and retention of volunteers to meet the organization’s volunteer needs in coordination with the Volunteer Program Manager. Facilitate continuous quality improvement of the volunteer program for clients, staff and volunteers with a specific focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Identify new and innovative strategies for leveraging volunteers to strengthen the organization’s engagement with the community. Design and implement corporate and civic organization large group, short term volunteer programs.
