Member Duties : Provide 4-H agriculture, health, civic engagement & STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) programs at various sites throughout Gila County, with an emphasis on working at Miami Unified School District, Globe Unified School District, Payson Unified School District & youth clubs in Payson and Globe-Miami. Expand hands-on STEAM programming to youth via classroom lessons, afterschool programs, special events, club meetings, camps, etc.
Assist with recruitment & onboarding of adult 4-H volunteers. Assist with recruitment and enrollment of 4-H youth member into community clubs & other 4-H activities. Support adult 4-H volunteers & youth with documenting their activities. Preferred qualifications: Passion for youth development & mentorship of kids & teens (primarily ages 8 to 18); knowledge of 4-H mission; Ability to work a consistent schedule to provide in-person programming; Enjoys working as a team & able to work independently. Part-time position.
