YP365 Volunteer Coordinator VISTA
YouthPower365 engages over 3,500 students annually to provide extended year-round learning that inspires, educates, and empowers the youth and families of Eagle County. The goal of this project will be to enrich the services provided and improve family engagement through volunteerism. Through engaging youth in the community YouthPower365 enriches their experience, providing them with resources, and access to educational programming; ultimately improving academic outcomes and addressing factors that contribute to poverty in the community. This will be accomplished by building a culturally responsive, comprehensive volunteer system that provides enriching and beneficial volunteer opportunities to community members. The system created will include aspects to recruit, record, and appreciate these volunteers.
