Artpreneurs, Inc (dba. Arts on the Block) has served the DMV since 2003. AOB’s mission is to empower creative youth to imagine and shape fulfilling futures, join the workforce and contribute to the quality of life in their communities. AOB achieves its mission by providing real-world experiences in the arts, educational guidance, and entrepreneurial training geared to each young creatives’ unique capabilities.

Member Duties : The VISTA Member will continue to build the capacity of an established 1:1 mentoring program for youth and young adult program participants (ages 14 through 24) as they transition from high school to college and/or the workforce. The other role is to help move AOB closer to applying for federal apprenticeship accreditation which brings with it a multitude of financial and service resources that would be beneficial to program participants.
