Arts on the Block’s College and Career Readiness
Artpreneurs, Inc (dba. Arts on the Block) has served the DMV since 2003. AOB’s mission is to empower creative youth to imagine and shape fulfilling futures, join the workforce and contribute to the quality of life in their communities. AOB achieves its mission by providing real-world experiences in the arts, educational guidance, and entrepreneurial training geared to each young creatives’ unique capabilities.

Member Duties : The VISTA Member will continue to build the capacity of the College and Career Readiness program, which will provide comprehensive and effective college, job-readiness, and career-related services for youth and young adult program participants (ages 14 through 24) as they transition from high school to college and/or the workforce. Part of the VISTA’s responsibility will be to recruit professionals to share their experiences and expertise within Block Talk presentations, mock interview experiences, and potentially shadow-ships/internships and other such endeavors.
