Lawrence Community Shelter Community Engagement VISTA
 
 
 
The Community Engagement Coordinator Member will build the capacity of The Lawrence Community Shelter (LCS) by assisting the Director of Community Engagement & the Volunteer Program Manager in growing the capacity of the Community Engagement team, which helps improve the quality of service and care for individuals experiencing homelessness in Douglas County. This position will impact poverty by increasing the breadth and accuracy of community engagement data gathering and tracking, which support the mission, programs, projects, and outcomes of LCS which helps create a more effective emergency shelter. This will ultimately lead to improved housing outcomes for LCS clients.

Member Duties : The Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA will implement systems for tracking ongoing donations inventory and current needs, assist with identifying and collecting information on new funding sources, and expand the impact of outreach efforts.
