Ascend Training and Learning Development Coordinator

Ascend Indiana (Ascend) is a fast-growing non-profit on a mission to address to Indiana’s workforce misalignment. Ascend’s vision is for Indiana to be a place of economic opportunity for all. An initiative of Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP), Ascend collaborates with corporate, education, philanthropic, and community partners to provide meaningful and self-sustaining career opportunities to individuals across the state. To ensure Ascend can effectively connect low-income individuals to meaningful and self-sustaining job and internship opportunities with Indiana employers at scale, Ascend is seeking a Training and Learning Development Coordinator to support the expansion or the organization during a period of exciting growth. VISTA members will work with a highly collaborative team throughout their term of service and will receive continuous professional development opportunities. Member Duties : The Training and Learning Development Coordinator will support Ascend’s vision and mission through the research and development of training and onboarding processes, materials, and content, as well as conduct research on topics related to regional prosperity in central Indiana. The Training and Learning Development Coordinator will be responsible for conducting research on best practices, reviewing training resources, developing accurate and consistent training and onboarding materials, and execute strategies that lead to data collection and strategic planning for future trainings and onboardings.
