Kickstart Communities Coordinator VISTA

Kickstart Communities provides community members and leaders across the state the opportunity to kickstart their development. Through two fellowships, community conversations and a free learning platform, Kickstart Communities equips folks across the state with skills and resources related to community development. This is work that is critical to the long-term growth and development of the full community development system in West Virginia. It also serves as a key indicator that the community development systems-level work in West Virginia has moved into the second generation of growth, moving past piloting diverse strategies and towards documenting what works in rural community development, creating processes to build impact data documentation across dispersed small communities and separate operating entities, and structuring continuous mechanisms to engage and develop new leaders. Kickstart Communities will empower communities to kickstart their own development from a variety of angles!
