Member Duties : The Outdoor Nature and Recreation Instructor will expand GPI’s reach through increased environmental education and recreation programming both during and outside of school hours. They will develop and lead outdoor school STEM, recreation, restoration, and stewardship activities; deliver Forest School programs in elementary – middle school setting, including science and sustainability learning standards; collaborate with partner organizations on program design and coordination; increase cultural exchange opportunities between urban, suburban, and rural youth; recruit, train, and lead volunteers; design and implement a culturally responsive strategic outreach plan; collect data to measure program impact.
