Louisville Girls Leadership Outreach/Development VISTA
 
 
 
Louisville Girls Leadership (LGL) creates an immersive experience in which high school girls develop meaningful skills and relationships. As members of an inclusive community, girls amplify their societal impact, becoming exceptional leaders in their world. Since 2014, LGL has been in a period of growth and expansion. As our mission expands to serve more students, we seek to create pathways to sustainability for our fundraising and community engagement efforts. Sourcing financial support from our community and expanding our network, as well as building strong ties with organizations who work in the youth development space in Louisville will be critical to this sustainability target. Join Louisville Girls Leadership as we build support and awareness for our mission and the By Girls, For Girls cornerstone of our programming model.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will: - Analyze the curriculum and goals of LGL programming to build a base of understanding that will aid in program representation and promotion; - Apply research from previous VISTA and the Program Manager to build upon partnerships and community connections of programs who have a similar mission to LGL; - Advance existing and establish new fundraising efforts for LGL while working alongside Program Manager and the LGL Board of Directors; - Assist with programming efforts alongside Program Manager to implement feedback and recommendations from other programs and community partners to strengthen the overall program; - Assist in program conclusion activities to ensure and enhance sustainability, while building capacity.
