Member Duties : The Elementary Tutor supports Napavine Elementary’s efforts to build early literacy skills and establish a love for reading in our students. The will tutor students in one on one and small group settings; support literacy programs in schools, early learning centers, and community-based settings; recruit volunteer tutors for before and after school programming, refine volunteer recruitment systems, and expand volunteer recognition; build community-based literacy resources that can be shared across schools and programs; promote peer tutoring opportunities; provide additional support for multilingual learners to improve English proficiency; assist with family and community involvement events.
