NeighborWorks VISTA-NWHP–Access and Engagement Specialist
 
 
 
NeighborWorks Home Partners is a full-service homeownership center that empowers individuals and communities by helping people buy, fix, and keep their homes. We are working to reduce racial disparities in homeownership and improve access to resources that support successful and sustainable homeownership. We are seeking a VISTA member to join our team to document service delivery processes for each of the services offered at NeighborWorks Home Partners and to analyze Salesforce data to discover who we are reaching to create a plan to overcome gaps in equity. With this information, you will help improve customer engagement with our programs by improving service delivery workflows and implement recommendations. You'll gain experience in nonprofit operations and homeownership needs while applying your skills in solving workflow issues and reaching underrepresented communities. If you're able to take on this challenge, you will be helping people access down payment assistance, homebuyer education, credit help, and home improvement funding. Many of our customers would not be able to achieve homeownership without this help. This is an experience that can make an impact not just for a lifetime but for generations to come.

Member Duties : We are looking for someone who likes to work with staff to document current work processes, create flowcharts, analyze data, and research organizational models. You will help identify redundancies, design system automation, and develop reports to determine gaps in equity surrounding homeownership. You’ll produce physical and digital assets including: a manual of programs to document processes, produce instructional materials, and develop items that can be used to train staff; and Salesforce reports to be used monthly and quarterly to determine which communities create and complete homeownership service lines.
