Member Duties : AmeriCorps Members will serve as Batteries Included Mentors providing underserved and marginalized youth grades 6-12 at 23 BI/NextGen middle and high schools supplemental programming. Members will work with BI participants providing small group interventions, facilitate informational and hands-on workshops, ensure participants receive college related materials and provide experiences and activities related to college readiness.
900 and 1200 hour positions available for service period of September 2023 – August 2024. The stipend for these positions are up to $15,080 - $19,500 for the 12-month term ($580.00 - $750.00 bi-weekly), education award is $3,447.50 - $4,826.50, and required hours are 20-25 hours per week.*
