Development Coordinator VISTA

With the direction of the President and Board of Trustees, the Development Coordinator VISTA will develop a community outreach plan that grows membership and the capacity of Lahontan Audubon Society (LAS) as a whole. The VISTA will implement the membership outreach plan through leveraging community support for the organization. This person will also help to build a sustainable fundraising plan and raise operating funds to support the LAS and expand our programs by researching, writing, and reporting on grants that support LAS activities. In addition, this person will develop standard operating procedures for committees, educational programs, and overall governance of the LAS. These efforts will help ensure that low-income youth and adults are being active in their parks and open spaces. LAS is a chapter of the National Audubon Society, and a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, serving northern Nevada and the Reno/Sparks metropolitan area since 1972.
