All for All Healthy Communities Coordinator
 
 
 
All for All is a collaborative network working to advance immigrant inclusion in the Pittsburgh region. Collectively, coalition members seek to build a regional movement that advances immigrant integration, removes barriers to success, and improves equity for all foreign-born residents including marginalized groups such as refugees, low-income individuals, and other under-resourced populations. The Global Switchboard houses the coalition. The VISTA team will be made up of six positions, each placed at coalition member organizations addressing distinct priority issues including supporting immigrants. Regular collaboration with community partners is critical to this work. This is a fast-paced opportunity. Ideal candidates are resourceful, globally-minded, and comfortable with multitasking and managing several priorities.

Member Duties : The Healthy Communities Coordinator works directly with our All for All Coalition to support health education, promote access to affordable and culturally informed healthcare, promote food justice, and increase the number of immigrant and international healthcare professionals in the region. This Coordinator will accomplish this by working closely with the elected Chair of the Healthy Communities Subcommittee to develop, lead, and partner on initiatives and projects. In addition, the Health Communities Coordinator will be placed at a member organization of the All for All Coalition and will work with their staff on different projects. The focus of this year will be in building capacity within the subcommittee to ensure sustainability, and helping to identify priorities for the next phase of the Immigrant Community Blueprint. It is anticipated that there will be overlap between the VISTA’s Subcommittee work and tasks at the placement site.
