Member Duties : Young Audiences of Western New York is a not-for-profit arts-in-education organization whose mission is to inspire, expand learning, and strengthen the community through engagement with the arts. The Cultural Collaboration Coordinator VISTA will enhance and transform the Arts Partners for Learning (APL) initiative so that the most vulnerable populations will have access to quality creative learning opportunities presented by professional Teaching Artists and cultural organizations. Working alongside our staff and board, the VISTA will develop and execute engagements with teaching artists, educators, schools, community organizations, and cultural institutions to build a stronger art in education network in WNY that will better serve the youth of the region. Additionally, the VISTA will coordinate, and execute the APL professional development series, improve data collection, and research and apply for grants and sponsorships to fund additional programs.
