GrowGood’s staff and board are a remarkable collection of people whose skills range far beyond farming to include deep experience working with homeless people, high-end restaurant cooking, business management, and other skills. The VISTA Position will work as part of this team with the General Manager, Farm Manager, and our transitional employees. We believe this structure is essential to ensure each leadership role is supported and the program achieves its goals.

Member Duties : The VISTA position will be responsible for assisting the Farm Manager with implementing and managing the farm plan and working alongside both GrowGood and Salvation Army staff members to recruit and track participants for the program. This is a position for someone who is entrepreneurial, looking to grow personally and professionally, work collaboratively with a team, and make an impact in the community. GrowGood is a small team and each employee plays a key role in the overall strategy and direction of the organization.
