| Member Duties : Our AmeriCorps VISTA member with Edgewood Village Network Center will engage in academic, enrollment, and retention support activities for economically disadvantaged K-12 students to create a college-going culture for first generation college students to promote college success. The VISTA will develop and maintain partnerships with the local school district. They will recruit volunteers for various educational enrichment activities and programs and will gather and provide resources to support students as they plan for college.
