Stewards VISTA: Mississippi Park Connection

An AmeriCorps VISTA at Mississippi Park Connection will support the connection between people and the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a national park. The VISTA will build capacity for youth education, environmental stewardship, and community programs and support fundraising and communications. Specifically, the AmeriCorps member will increase our communications and support fundraising efforts for our BIPOC Outside Twin Cities events. The Corps Member will support fundraising and our membership program by coordinating acknowledgements of members and building opportunities for membership at the Saint Anthony Falls Lock and Dam. Each of these efforts will build capacity toward a capital campaign for a new River Learning Center on the Mississippi River.
