Outreach Coordinator VISTA

Catholic Charities of Buffalo, NY, the most comprehensive human service provider serving the eight counties of Western York without regard to religion, race or age, understands that the best hope for the future is optimum emotional, mental and physical health for all. Catholic Charities works to empower individuals, children and families to achieve and maintain meaningful and healthy lives within their communities. As a primary supporter for those in need, particularly the most vulnerable and those without a voice, Catholic Charities assesses and meets specific needs of our community members. The expertise and compassion of its staff, a continued focus on positive outcomes and the ability to change as needs change are agency hallmarks. This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty. This VISTA member will be responsible for reaching out to other service providers to better coordinate the services available to the public, assessing what needs aren't being met, and working collaboratively to develop new ways to meet the needs.
