Feeding Chittenden Community Liason Member

The AmeriCorps member will serve in our Access Center. The Access Center was designed to best serve our recipients by creating new and low barrier ways to access food from our pantry through online ordering and home delivery. We have partnered with our county’s Head Start locations to provide culturally relevant and healthy foods to their students and their families. The AmeriCorps member will help us provide more fresh and local produce to these families during the summer months, and allow us to continue delivering foods to these families through our new summer home delivery program. This program promotes choice around what types of foods families are receiving and allows for a more inclusive and culturally aware food experience.
