Canopy Child Advocacy Center Grants & Donor Engagement VISTA
 
 
 
This VISTA’s role will be explore additional funding sources for Canopy, helping to enhance current funding applications/reports, and analyze donor data. Key activities include improving collaboration with existing Board/Committee volunteers for fundraising event preparation/logistics, researching new funders and providing enhanced community and program data, and increase capacity for analysis of current and prospective donors, particularly major gifts.

Member Duties : Cuyahoga County Department of Health and Human Services mission is, “Transforming lives at every age and stage through collaboration, innovation, and service; connecting people with the opportunity to live their best lives.” Working towards achieving this mission, Children and Family Services (division of HHS) engages with the Canopy Child Advocacy Center as a way to collaborate and provide services for people they serve. Aligning with the sustainable solutions and capacity building principles, this VISTA will seek to enhance the level of awareness regarding Canopy with specific focus on cultivating donors and enhancing grants. Some of the activities included are enhancing data shared with donors, working with ongoing grants, and identifying new opportunities for Canopy. Assisting with obtaining funding for associated needs within the center will result increased resources, services, and overall access for our most vulnerable, children/youth.
