Campus Compact VISTA WIT - Fenway High School, MA
 
 
 
The AmeriCorps member serving with Wentworth Institute of Technology at Fenway High School will build capacity for the newly created “Entrepreneurship for Good” program that will provide early college opportunities and pathways for low-income students beginning in their sophomore year. The AmeriCorps member will work with students and families to identify areas of need and support while creating resources for collegiate access and success. The biweekly living allowance for this position is $1027.88 in Suffolk county. In addition to the benefits listed, the host site will provide housing (on or off campus), a meal plan on campus, fitness center passes, and access to professional development & training opportunities. The AmeriCorps member serving at Wentworth Institute of Technology in partnership with Fenway High School will be part of a dynamic, motivated corps with Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA. Serving as a member of a corps provides the chance to connect with other members throughout multiple states, create a network of support, and to share resources. As the intermediary, Campus Compact, a national non-profit, supports the professional and personal growth of AmeriCorps members through a variety of professional development opportunities and in-person trainings including overnight retreats throughout their service year.
