To achieve this end, he/she/they will help us build the identity of the Ed Fund and tell our story by: • Creating an Annual Report • Growing our presence through social media and website • Creating marketing collateral for our programs and services • Acting as a liaison/project manager to marketing consultants for Ed Fund • Developing and coordinate a donor event and/or community event • Supporting the research and application of grant applications. The Ed Fund was established in 1983 to build education support for the students, staff, parents, and communities of West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD). We advance our mission by advocating for excellence in education, assisting WCCUSD in providing high-quality learning experiences, promoting community engagement and investment in education, and supporting student access to educational opportunities. The Ed Fund mobilizes resources for our students and aligns the efforts of our partners to ensure that all students succeed in college, career, and life. We know that when communities work together toward equity, our youth will thrive. We collaborate with WCCUSD and community partners to ultimately ensure WCCUSD students realize their full potential. We work throughout all of WCCUSD, which includes El Cerrito, Kensington, Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante, Pinole and Hercules. The Ed Fund accomplishes its mission through four priority areas: 1. Supporting strategic fund development for WCCUSD 2. Convening and coordinating a multi-sector collaborative for impact 3. Providing Ed Fund programs that promote & support WCCUSD 4. Build capacity of local educational organizations through fiscal sponsorship The Ed Fund understands the opportunities and challenges that face the WCCUSD community. We believe that together, through our collaborative efforts, we can support the WCCUSD goal that every student acquires the skills and knowledge to succeed in the world.
